I’ve always admired the distinctive design language of the Swiss startup Ascento, whose wheeled security robots carry a uniquely approachable, off-road personality.
This independent concept study explores how their archetype might evolve toward a more industrial, high-precision Swiss aesthetic.
Highlights:
• Refined leg geometry inspired by purist bike frame design
• A mixed-hue edition exploring material contrast and visual balance
• A flexible display interface evolving the original “googly-eye” interaction into a platform for localized communication and deterrence cues
• A few melodramatic cliffside renders, because every robot deserves its cinematic moment
Developed in Siemens NX and rendered in Unreal Engine to explore production-ready detailing and visual storytelling in one workflow.
